2011 EPBF Player of the Year award
The European Pocket Billiard Federation is an organizer of the EPBF Player of the Year award.
The board of EPBF will nominate players from each category: men, women, WC, seniors and ladies. The board will indicate maximum 3 players from each discipline, maximum 12 nominees in total. These nominees will then be announced and people will have the right to vote.
The voting is as follows:
All votes count in 3 groups.
Group 1
Open voting through the web site. Everyone who would like to take part in our election, has the right to send the vote by internet. The vote automatically will be added to the account of the player. The Voting Internet System will show the current results.
Group 2
Voting by E-mail for EPBF members (national federations).
Members of EPBF will send votes to the Manager of the election.
Group 3
Voting by E-mail for EPBF board members, honorary board members and partners.
They will send votes to the manager of the election.
Each participant of the open voting has 1 vote.
Each EPBF member has 1 vote.
Each EPBF Board member and Honorary board members have 1 vote.
Each EPBF partner has 1 vote.
Votes will count in groups. Players-candidates, depending on amount of votes, will be classified from the first to the last position in the group and will get in 2011 following points:
1st place - 7 points;
2nd place - 5 points;
3rd place - 4 points;
4th place - 3 points;
5th place - 2 points;
6th place - 1 point.
Points from all groups will be counted. A player-candidate who collects in total the biggest amount of points will become a winner (after summarizing points from group 1 + group 2 + group 3). If two or more players have the same amount of points, the result from the group 1 (the amount of votes in open voting) will decide.
Time: 20th December nominees will be announced and published on the web site.
Voting is from 4th January till 4th February.
Votes are counted until 20th February.
Prizes: Trophy and title:
